Elżbieta Dzierżek

My work has been related to accounting since the beginning of my career, that is for over 20 years. I began my journey from the position of assistant in a large trade chain, Geant Polska. Over the next years, I would gain professional experience by working as an independent accountant, company controller and head of department.

For over a decade, I have been working with one of the largest chains of book and press stores, EMPIK. In recent years, I have been gaining experience in outsourcing where I have been able to learn about the specifics of new sectors. My worked involved providing customers with counsel in the scope of corporate accounting for service, trade as well as production companies (publishing houses, construction sector).

I am a graduate of the Insurance and Banking Academy with major in Finance. I completed a post-graduate course in Accounting at the Finance Academy. I hold a certificate of the Ministry of Finance for service bookkeeping.

At MDDP Outsourcing in Warsaw, I am responsible for managing the accounting team and record keeping. I am very pleased to be a part of one of the best teams of specialists that continuously follow the changes in taxes and support their customers in fiscal and accounting matters. In today’s reality, the accountant is no longer just a consultant. He or she is also a business partner who understands the needs and challenges that finance departments must cope with.

In my opinion, the most crucial ability is to quickly adjust to changes in regulations and taxes and to help the customer with process implementation or streamlining. The key is to understand the customers’ expectations in the context of technological advancement and innovation in accounting processes.
